glittering ceremony. Widely regarded as the most prestigious recognition in the Emirates’ food and beverage sector, it is no small task to top Time Out’s annual list of Dubai’s best eateries – and so Hunter & Barrel UAE is delighted to have been Highly Commended as Dubai’s Best Steakhouse or Grill 2023.

Did we know we would be Dubai’s Best Steakhouse back then?
Hunter & Barrel UAE’s Managing Director Rob de Villers says yes. “We knew Hunter & Barrel would be a success from day one. Steakhouses have always been popular in the UAE, but we aimed to provide
amazing quality at a fairer price. We wanted to offer an unpretentious, yet sophisticated environment, loaded with an energetic ambience.”
What’s the secret?
A successful launch is one thing, but exceeding that success, and building the standout reputation Hunter & Barrel now has two years on is another. So, what’s the secret? “We have a ‘no compromise’ policy when it comes to sourcing the very best meat cuts and quality ingredients,” says Rob. “That, and for me, the 300g Wagyu Rump with chunky chips and house chilli sauce!”
